Grounds Care Subscription Information

This Subscription is About:

  • When and why the contract can be terminated

 

1. What We’ll Do (Scope of Services)

Mowing Package

  • Weekly Professional Mowing: We will mow, blow, trim, and edge your lawn once a week from April 1 to November 1.

  • Dry Weather Plan: If it’s too dry to mow, we can provide substitute services such as weed removal for the same allotted time as your mowing service.

  • Bad Weather: In the case of rain on the day of service, we will do our best to reschedule the same week. It is last case scenario for us to skip a week of service in the spring, but we reserve the right in cases of extreme weather patterns.

Mowing + Landscaping Package

  • Add landscaping services into your subscription: We would recommend 1 mulch, 2 bush/shrub pruning's (Early Spring and Fall/Your Choosing). Another additional service that we can provide is weekly weed removal, which can be also added to grounds care subscription. Even if no additional landscaping services are needed.

  • Other services that may pop up throughout the year can always be billed separately. 

We offer a discount on landscaping within the Mowing + Landscaping subscription which will be divided into your monthly bill. This makes it easier for us to properly maintain your landscape, but landscaping can always be billed separately for full price if you do not wish to include it in your subscription. Our subscription customers will be our top priority so there may be wait times if you do not wish to include landscaping in your subscription.

 

2. How Payments Work

  • Flat Monthly Fee: You’ll pay the same amount each month for the full 7-month period, or pay all upfront for a discount 

  • How to Pay: Pay with card through our invoicing system or by Zelle, check, or cash (2% fee for credit/debit payments)

  • When to Pay: You’ll get a bill each month, and payment is due monthly.

 

3. Yard and Pet Rules

  • Secure Pets: Please keep pets indoors or safe:

    • We are not responsible for injuries to pets who have been failed to be properly secured. ​

    • We will notify you in advance when we will be arriving at your property, this will be a similar time every week. If pets are not properly secured, we will skip service, and you will still be charged. We may offer a credit based on the circumstances, but in fairness to our other customers we won't wait for the pets to be secured. Exceptions can be made but this is more for repeating issues with unsecured pets.

  • Stand Clear of employees and equipment when in operation:

    • We are not responsible for injuries to persons who don't follow these rules.

  • Clean Yard: Make sure the yard is free of pet waste, toys, or other obstacles. If we have to clean it, extra charges apply. Want us to do cleanup regularly? Let us know, and we’ll add it to your plan.

    • We are not respon​sible for damage of property due to objects that have been failed to be cleaned up

These rules have been put in place for the safety of you, property, and pets.

 

4. Skipped Services

  • Your Mowing Day: You’ll have a regular day for service each week. (Scheduling is based on what works best for our route based on your location.)

  • Requesting Skips: If you want to skip a week, tell us ahead of time. You’ll still pay for the week, but we’ll credit you for future mowing service or weed removal for the same allotted time.

We care about doing what is best for your lawn over everything else. It's very rare that we will have to skip in the spring/early summer, but later in the summer skipping service is sometimes what is best for the overall health of the lawn. Part of what you are paying for is our expert discretion, but as a courtesy we will provide you with a mowing service or weed removal credit for these events. This approach lets us do what is best for your lawn and landscape and leaves all the worries about it in our hands, saving you time to do the things you are passionate about

 

5. Extra Services

Want more? Here’s what we can do for an additional charge: (These can be added into subscription or billed separately)

  • Leaf removal

  • Mulch

  • Weed Removal

  • Bush/Shrub pruning

  • Gutter cleaning

  • Power Washing

  • + More (just ask!)

 

6. Ending the Contract

  • We can end the contract if:

    • Payment is failed to be made 

    • Pets are unsecured repeatedly

    • The yard isn’t clean, and fees aren’t paid

    • Other serious issues

  • If we end the contract, we’ll let you know in writing, and any unpaid balance will be due.

  • You can end the contract at any time but if at least one service has already been done in the month, the full amount will be owed for that month. Once final payment is made the contract will be terminated.
